  • Top Green candidate in Lower Saxony for the European Elections in 1999, candidate 11 on the Federal party list
  • ALLIANCE 90/THE GREENS candidate for a direct mandate in Constituency 37 (Lüneburg-Lüchow-Dannenberg), candidate 5 on the Land list for Lower Saxony
  • Member of the German Bundestag since September 2002
